What the Training Covers

This training is designed to give participants the tools to intervene the next time they witness harmful behaviour in the sport community. You will learn how to be an effective bystander in the midst of maltreatment in sport spaces using the proven 5Ds methodology, the five strategies for intervention. We have partnered with Right to Be to offer Bystander Intervention in Sport for your teammates, colleagues, and friends. Course: 1 hour training and 15 mins Q&A (optional)
Course Type: Live Training Session with Facilitator
Recommendation: We recommend adult supervision for participants under the age of 16.

If you have a Locker account with the Coaching Association of Canada you can earn 2 Continuing Education Credits (NCCP Points) by completing this training.

This training is accredited by the Abuse-Free Sport Education Program.
