First-ever TAFISA World Martial Arts Games at the Richmond Olympic Oval available to watch online this weekend 

Vancouver, BC – viaSport is pleased to announce an event partnership with the Richmond Olympic Oval, providing live-streamed coverage of the TAFISA (The Association for International Sport for All) World Martial Arts Games from September 5 – 7, 2014—an event hosting more than 300 athletes representing several countries across the globe.

viaSport is pleased to broadcast select coverage of this international event live from the Richmond Olympic Oval, bringing a range of martial arts competition styles to friends, families and fans unable to watch the event in person.

When to watch:

  • Friday, September 5 (9:00 am – 4:00 pm PDT)
  • Saturday, September 6 (10:30 am – 5:00 pm PDT)
  • Sunday, September 7 (10:30 am – 5:00 pm PDT)

Where to watch:

The first-ever TAFISA World Martial Arts Games at the Oval, qualifications for this event are now complete with national sport organizations from around the world sending in their teams for the competitions, just as they would for the Olympic Games. Between athletes and spectators, this four-day event is expected to draw thousands of visitors to Richmond, British Columbia to watch martial arts ranging from the exotic – including Xtreme, Musical and Chinese Weapons Forms – to the more action-packed grapple and point sparring forms.
