Call for nominations: Order of British Columbia
Jan 13, 2015
Know an influential individual in sport who has made a difference in BC? The 2015 nomination period is now open for the Order of British Columbia.
The Order of British Columbia recognizes those who have served with distinction and excelled in any field that benefits the people of B.C. or the world. Established in 1989, it represents the highest form of recognition the province can extend to its citizens, with recipients ranging from charitable celebrities to young British Columbians embracing new ideas and making a difference in their community.
To nominate a British Columbian for the Order of B.C., use the online nomination process or complete the PDF form and submit it electronically or by mail to the Secretariat.
The completed Nomination Form, letters of support and any supporting materials must be received by the first Friday in March to be considered in the current calendar year. Nominations received after this will be included in the selection process for the next calendar year.
