Embracing Equity – viaSport International Women’s Day virtual event

viaSport is hosting a virtual event for International Women’s Day March 8. The 60-minute event features the theme “Embracing Equity” – Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have. This session is open to all.
Dehara September, Surrey United Soccer Club Technical Operations Manager and Venus FC Canada founder, will moderate a 40-minute panel after setting the stage for the discussion with a 15-minute keynote address. Themes for the discussion include:
- Building equity with intention
- the value of good policy
- engaging with an open mind to ensure success for mothers, administrators and athletes
