Want to influence and advance gender equity in B.C. sport and physical activity? Join our Girls and Women Advisory Group!
The Girls and Women Advisory Group is a team of passionate leaders who are motivated to help shape a shared vision and design solutions for gender equity in British Columbia. We understand that advancing gender equity in sport and physical activity from participation to leadership is complex work. We are seeking individuals to join our team who can see the big picture while able to identify interventions for impact.
The group will provide advice and recommendations to viaSport on strategy development, implementation, evaluation, program delivery, and overall best practices on system change and gender equity in sport and physical activity. The advisory group term is two years and begins January 2019 with quarterly meetings.
