Tom Walker joins ViaSport as Community Sport Development Coordinator

viaSport is excited to welcome Tom Walker in the new role of Community Sport Development Coordinator. In this role, Tom will act as a community leader for viaSport, promoting physical literacy and the Canadian Sport for Life initiative at a variety of events across the province.
Tom will also be working closely with our regional, sport, and community organizations to provide educational resources around physical literacy and sport development. Tom will also continue his work leading the Physical Literacy Cooperative.
With a Masters in Urban Planning from SFU, and a Bachelor of Physical Education from UBC, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge in physical activity, sport and recreation to his role with viaSport. He is also is a trained NCCP multi-sport and high five learning facilitator.
