Two BC women honoured in CAAWS Most Influential Women List 2014

The Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) has honoured a number of incredible women in 2014’s Most Influential Women List, including two outstanding role models here in British Columbia.
Rachel Lewis, Chief Operating Officer at Vancouver Whitecaps FC, is honoured for her business leadership in sport. Out of 19 Major League Soccer teams throughout Canada and the United States, Rachel is the only female to hold a top executive role. Christine Sinclair, Captain of Canada’s Women’s National Soccer Team, is known worldwide for her accomplishments as a female athlete. From hometown Burnaby, BC, Christine has made over 200 appearances with the Canadian National Team, earning the title of Canadian Play of the Year for the 11th year running.
