Course description:
Core Training for Learning Facilitators is a workshop that all Learning Facilitator candidates must take. The workshop introduces Learning Facilitator candidates to the goals and philosophy of the NCCP, teaches them how to facilitate modules, and helps them understand the instructional design of the modules.
In Core Training for Learning Facilitators, you will learn:
- Overview of the Workshop and the NCCP
- Functions of a Learning Facilitator
- Elements of an Effective Learning Activity
- Stages of Group Development
- Nature of the Group
Please note: This is a live, facilitator-led, interactive, group-based course offered online through Zoom. To participate in an Online Delivery course, you must have a working microphone, speakers and a camera as well as reliable access to the internet (Dial-up or High Speed).
Please make sure that you have the most updated version of Zoom as some features might not be available through the older versions.
Please note that this course takes place over 2 evenings. Coach Developers must attend the full duration of this workshop to receive credit for their participation. Due to system limitations, course transfers, substitutions or deferrals are not possible.
