Designation Program Application Form
Provincial and Disability Sport Organizations are eligible to apply for Affiliated or Recognized status, whichever is more appropriate, according to the criteria. All of these criteria must be met in order to apply to the Program.
Application Form Details
The application form is divided into three sections.
1. Eligibility: This information helps viaSport identify the organization and the Designation status you are eligible to apply for.
2. Governance: This section requires uploading documentation to show governance documentation, including but not limited to policies and good standing with BC Societies Act.
3. Program Details: In order to show the reach, quality and coaching capabilities of the organization’s programs, documentation is required to be uploaded.
Specific documents and information are required to upload in the application.
Review and Approval
After the initial review of up to six weeks, the organization will be contacted to discuss the application and provide any feedback.
Organizations meeting the criteria, as confirmed by viaSport, will be granted a Designation, pending approval from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, and Sport.
