Adaptive Sport Grant

The goal of the Adaptive Sport Grant is to provide funding for sport organizations that are supporting the lead up and delivery of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 (IG25). The grant supports eligible organizations to grow adaptive sport and build their organizational capacity as part of the legacy of the Games. The grant is supported through contributions from the Province of BC.

Eligible applicants are invited to apply for funding between $5,000 and $30,000 depending on the scope of programming (see full application guidelines, for eligibility).

Who can apply?

Applications can only be submitted by registered not-for-profit societies that are:

• A viaSport Designated Sport Organization (i.e., accredited, recognized, or affiliated)
• Local Sport Organizations (LSOs) that are affiliated and in good standing of a viaSport Designated Sport Organization.

AND

• Support the growth or delivery of adaptive sport leading up to or during the Invictus Games 2025. Eligible sports include: Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Indoor Rowing, Biathlon, Nordic Skiing, Sitting Volleyball, Skeleton, Swimming, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Curling, Wheelchair Rugby
