Emily Vickery (She/Her/Hers)

I love my work because I believe sport helps to provide lifelong skills, learnings, and healthy behaviors. I have the privilege of assisting coaches, coach developers, participants, and all those interested in sports to pursue education and opportunities. As the steward for coach mentorship programs, I enjoy supporting coaches in their journey at either the BC Games or the Canada Games. I am a Team BC and BC Games alumni, as a supporter, and I enjoy supporting sports at these games.

I have worked in Sports Administration for over 12 years and joined the viaSport team in 2021. I am a graduate of Camosun College, and have a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Fitness Leadership. I am grounded in community and volunteer at my Housing Cooperative and sporting events. I enjoy being active outside and try to build a little movement into my every day. Outside of work, you can find me on my bike, enjoying the outdoors, playing board games, or baking a new recipe.
