Governance & Operational Effectiveness

Beginning in 2024, viaSport is implementing a multi-year Governance and Operational review to support Designated Sport Organizations in British Columbia and viaSport.

The Operational Enhancement Initiative is designed to help each Designated Sport Organization strengthen their governance and internal operational systems. The initiative will help organizations update, prepare and modernize their organizations with new policies, standards, approaches, procedures, and/or systems. With action plans to support individual organizational improvements, the initiative is designed to help strengthen capacity and improve sustainability.

viaSport is seeking to identify and select an independent, qualified professional service provider (consultant) to help organizations improve in key areas as identified in the Evaluation Insights Report, specifically within the area of organizational readiness and in alignment with the Canadian Sport Governance Code.
