Team BC partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters to support children in Prince George

Team BC – Team BC and Big Brothers Big Sisters Prince George (BBBSPG) announced today a new partnership to support children in Prince George. During the 2015 Canada Winter Games, Team BC will provide a clothing and cash donation to the Team Up! mentorship program that introduces children in Prince George to sport and activities while teaching the importance of healthy eating, leadership, and communications skills.
“Teaching children healthy habits at a young age, including nutrition, leadership and communication, helps prepare them for success in life,” said Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond. “As a longtime supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters here in Prince George, it is terrific to know that the Team Up!mentorship program will benefit from a special partnership with Team BC. This will be another legacy of the 2015 Canada Winter Games.”
