Course description:
Learn to build the foundations of physical activity!
Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) are the basic movements that form the foundation of all sports and physical activities. They are essential for children’s success in future physical activities, helping build physical literacy and promoting lifelong participation in sport.
Through this interactive module, participants gain the ability to:
- Understand how FMS can contribute to participation in quality physical activities and sport
- Identify and support the development of FMS for participants of diverse abilities, backgrounds and experiences
- Create inclusive and accessible activities that will promote the development of FMS
This workshop is designed for coaches, recreation leaders, teachers, and anyone working to support others in developing physical literacy.
