In 2023, The Rally Together Fund provided $4M in one-time recovery funding to amateur sport to support organizations that had decreased membership or volunteerism due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This fund helped B.C.’s amateur sport system continue to provide opportunities for sport development and recovery, as well as provide significant community and economic benefits.

The Rally Together Fund had two grant categories: Sport Participation and Sport Volunteer grants. The Fund’s purpose was to:

  • Rebuild sport participation by recruiting participants of all ages and to offer more inclusive and accessible program options to more British Columbians.
  • Help British Columbian sport organizations recruit, retain, and train volunteers such as coaches, officials, administrators, board members, and other positions.

Below is a summary of the results of this generous funding provided by the Province of BC.
