Dan Czerwenka (He/Him/His)

Originally from Edmonton, and a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, my wife and I moved to Vancouver in the summer of 2019. I spent more than a decade working in the Financial Services Industry with both ATB Financial and the Bank of Montreal. After a fruitful career in banking, I moved my career to the Sports Industry to join the Professional Golfers’ Association of British Columbia as the organization’s Programs Manager, later becoming the Association’s Business Development Manager. Over the years with the PGA, I had the chance to develop many great relationships with Sponsors and Preferred Partners. I also had the opportunity to plan and execute events and initiatives such as Canucks’ Junior Golf Week, Women’s Golf Celebration, the PGA of BC Fall Trade Show, and lastly the Association’s Awards Celebration.

I am incredibly excited to be a part of the viaSport BC team. While I am naturally a golf fanatic, I hold a love for all sports and look forward to working with outstanding organizations and industry leaders across the province. I am an avid traveller, a geek at heart, and enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. I am also working hard to find a way to keep up with the medal count my spouse is quickly putting together through weightlifting competitions, but haven’t found a way to get on the podium just yet.
