viaSport Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Manning Elliott LLP to Strengthen Support for Amateur Sport Organizations
Oct 19, 2026
The MoU delivers access to sector expertise, educational resources, and competitive pricing for audit and advisory services
Vancouver, BC | October 19 2026 – viaSport BC is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Manning Elliott LLP, one of British Columbia’s leading accounting firms, to support the delivery of professional services to the amateur sport sector through viaSport’s Shared Services initiative.
Manning Elliott will serve as an independent professional services resource for viaSport Designated Sport Organizations (DSOs) and other organizations within viaSport’s network that are looking for audit, accounting, tax, and business advisory services.
Operating as an independent professional services provider, Manning Elliott will offer competitive pricing for audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services to Designated Sport Organizations that independently choose to engage the firm. Pricing will reflect the nature, scope, complexity, and size of each engagement, as well as the professional resources required to complete the work.
In addition to professional services, Manning Elliott will provide opportunities for sport organizations to participate in educational and networking events focused on financial management, governance, and organizational sustainability.
“Strong governance and sound financial management are essential to the success and sustainability of amateur sport organizations,” said Jared Kope, Director Revenue Development and Partnerships at viaSport. “We will work with Manning Elliott to expand the support available through viaSport’s Shared Services initiative and provide organizations with access to trusted expertise, educational opportunities, and cost efficiencies that will help strengthen the sector as a whole.”
The collaboration is designed to help sport organizations improve operational efficiency, strengthen financial oversight, and reduce administrative costs, allowing more resources to be directed toward sport development and participant experiences.
“We are pleased to work with viaSport to support amateur sport organizations throughout British Columbia,” said Navroz Janmohamed, Partner at Manning Elliott LLP. “Our team understands the unique needs and challenges facing non-profit and sport organizations, and we look forward to providing advice and resources that help organizations operate effectively and achieve their goals.”
This MoU powers viaSport’s ongoing commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable sport system in British Columbia by improving access to expertise, reducing duplication of effort, and creating cost-saving opportunities for member organizations. By leveraging shared services and sector-wide partnerships, sport organizations can dedicate more time and resources toward delivering safe, inclusive, and meaningful sport experiences for participants across the province.
