Video archives: Canada Games TV TODAY surpasses 33,000 views

Nineteen days and 22 episodes later, we can say that the inagural Canada Games TV TODAY show was a huge success. With over 33,000 views and counting, the show was watched by fans in more than 84 countries worldwide. Watch past episodes here!
viaSport would like to recognize and thank the 26 production and broadcast students from BCIT, Fanshawe College, Confederation College, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Loyalist College and Seneca College who made this show possible.   



  • TSN Sports aired reporter Tyson Fedor’s segment on Zack Madell (wheelchair basketball athlete from Team Alberta) on Thursday, February 26 on TSN 1/3/5/6
  • RDS aired reporter Carly Robinson’s segment on ‘Oh Chocolat – Petite douceur pour les Jeux’ on Friday, February 27, including an introduction filmed right in Prince George! (see photo)
  • The show was watched and shared by thousands of fans on social media including Federal Minister of Sport, Bal Gosal,  the Canadian Olympic Comittee, the BC Government, Global News and actor/comedian Colin Mochrie!

  • VCTV Prince George aired the show each night in English and French across Canada on the Bell and Telus satellite networks! (Channel 653)
