Are you interested in becoming a coach developer? viaSport is hosting a Learning Facilitator (LF) Core Training course in Burnaby on February 6!
This course is intended for current multi-sport or sport specific LFs, or coaches that have been identified by their sport to become trained as a LF.
Core Training for Learning Facilitators is a six-hour workshop that all LF candidates must take. The workshop introduces the goals and philosophy of the NCCP, how to facilitate modules, and teaches the instructional design of the modules.
Those who take this training will receive credit for the following modules on their NCCP transcript:
- Overview of the workshop and the NCCP
- Functions of a Learning Facilitator
- Elements of an Effective Learning Activity
- Stages of Group Development
- Nature of the group
viaSport is the provincial/territorial coaching representative for BC and are the only delivery agent of the NCCP Core Training for Coach Developers.
