School Facilities and Local Sport Access – Your feedback requested

viaSport and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport hope to gain a balanced picture of the access to school facilities by sport and physical activity groups.  We are requesting feedback from individuals who are involved with schools and school districts, and local and provincial sport organizations.

Participate in our brief survey to help us better understand the experiences, challenges, and opportunities in accessing space like school gyms, fields, and courts for your programs. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete Your responses will remain anonymous. The deadline to participate is December 20.

Experiences vary widely, so in addition to completing the survey yourself, share this this survey with others in your network. This will allow us to gather a wide range of perspectives to inform our efforts.

• If you are involved with a school or school district, please consider sharing this survey with principals and vice-principals, athletic directors, coaches and physical education teachers, facilities staff, or parent advisory councils.

• If you are involved with a local or provincial sport organization, please consider sharing this email with other colleagues staff, volunteers, coaches, parents of youth participants, member clubs and local associations, officials, or board members.
