viaSport celebrates Pride: Tara Llanes, B.C. athlete profile

Tara Llanes is a wheelchair basketball athlete who will be representing Team Canada at the Tokyo Paralympics this summer. Tara, who began as an athlete in the world of able-bodied BMX racing shares with us her sport journey and how she got to where she is today. We ask about her advice for coaches of LGBTQI2S athletes, her sport experiences growing up as an LGBTQI2S athlete, and how her preparation for the Paralympics is going.
