Conflict Management workshops
Calling all designated sport organizations! Want to learn how to effectively address interpersonal and conflict management skills? Then apply now for our PlaySafe BC conflict management and effective communication training program, facilitated by Now What Facilitation.
The in-depth conflict management training is broken down into two, 2.5-hour-long sessions that will leave you feeling confident in anticipating, recognizing, addressing and preventing conflict through direct communication.

National Coaches Week
September 16 to 24 marks National Coaches Week. This is a time to celebrate the positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities in Canada. Follow us on social media to stay in the loop on the incredible and inspiring stories we will be sharing on our BC Coaches.
Concussion Awareness Week
From September 24 to 30, we’re acknowledging BC Concussion Awareness Week. Concussion management and prevention starts with recognizing the signs and symptoms of a concussion. Follow us on our social media channels to read athlete stories on concussion management and links to resources.
National Truth and Reconciliation Day
National Truth and Reconciliation Day is a day for all Canadians to commemorate the history and ongoing impact of the residential school system on our Indigenous communities. On September 30, we invite you to honour the resilience, dignity, and strength of survivors and work to educate yourself and others about BC’s colonial history.
Visit the BC Sports Hall of Fame to view their Indigenous Sport Gallery, located in downtown Vancouver. Stay tuned on social media to hear from Indigenous athletes and their lived experiences on connecting with their heritage through sport.
