Although it was May Long Weekend this past weekend, Simon Fraser University was still hustling and bustling for the NEC-SFU Native Basketball Festival. This three-day festival of sport, culture and community hosted 500+ Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal players, Elders, performers, vendors, volunteers, families and friends.
Congratulations to the 32 teams who competed in the festival and displayed First Nations tradition of friendly competition on the court!
To date, the Native Basketball Festival has has brought in more than 4,000 live and archived views from over 73 countries worldwide. Watch the archives to relive the exciting basketball action.
