Course description:
NCCP Master Coach Developers select, train, evaluate, support, and mentor NCCP Coach Developers (Learning Facilitators, Coach Evaluators, and other Master Coach Developers).
NCCP Core Training for Master Coach Developers (MCDs) is an 8-hour workshop that all NCCP Master Coach Developers must take. The workshop focuses on the functions that MCDs perform in the NCCP. These functions include how to select, train, evaluate, and mentor other NCCP Coach Developers.
It is recommended that all NCCP Master Coach Developers take NCCP Core Training for Learning Facilitators and NCCP Core Training for Coach Evaluators before taking NCCP Core Training for Master Coach Developers.
In NCCP Core Training for Master Coach Developers you will learn:
- Role of the Master Coach Developer
- Selecting LFs/CEs
- Training Coach Developers
- Evaluating LFs
- Evaluating CEs
- Mentoring Coach Developers
Please note: This is a live, facilitator-led, interactive, group-based course offered online through Zoom. To participate in an Online Delivery course, you must have a working microphone, speakers and a camera as well as reliable access to the internet (Dial-up or High Speed).
Please make sure that you have the most updated version of Zoom as some features might not be available through the older versions.
Please note that this course takes place over 2 evenings. Coach Developers must attend the full duration of this workshop to receive credit for their participation. Due to system limitations, course transfers, substitutions or deferrals are not possible.
