Jared Kope (He/Him/His)

I have worked in various capacities in sport and recreation my entire career. From Right to Play in Northern Canada and the Mozambique National Olympic Committee, to PacificSport Fraser Valley before joining viaSport. I suppose my career choice makes sense since sport was the carrot that got me through school from age 6 to 24.

Overall, the goal of my career is to be a change-maker. I care deeply about enabling a culture of vibrancy and movement in our communities, and I believe sport plays a critical role. When I’m not working, you can find me strolling around the North Shore with my partner, considering the risk/reward of staying inbounds on powder days, teaching a spin class (like the dance on the bike kind), or telling my friends about a concert we NEED to see.
