Jason Elligott

BC born and raised, I grew up on the North Shore in a sporting family and had the opportunity to play both college and university soccer while pursuing my Bachelor of Business Management degree. After graduation, I travelled and lived abroad before returning to join BC Soccer, BC’s largest Provincial Sports Organization. I was fortunate enough to work with soccer for twenty years, with the last nine as the ED/CEO. I also earned a Master of Business Administration in 2019.

Sport, specifically soccer, has played an important part in my life so working in sport was always a goal. I believe that acting in the best interest of the game, stakeholders and ultimately, the public is paramount. I have a strong desire to use my experience and education in sport, governance and management to help with the unique challenges facing amateur sport.

When not working, you will probably find me either at the field coaching or watching my kids play, active in the mountains with my wife and kids, or happily watching Manchester United!
