Kevin Bowie (He/Him/His)

Shortly after I received a Bachelor of Physical Education and Recreation from the University of Manitoba, and on the heels of an impactful experience at the Athens Paralympic Games, an opportunity came along to move west for a position with BC Wheelchair Sports. Over the next 16 years I guided key development initiatives, delivered national & international parasport events and managed the wheelchair rugby high performance program.

My sport background is broad and well rounded, providing me with a unique view of sport development. Through my work in Paralympic movement, I have developed expertise as an advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion. I’ve had the honor of attending three World Championships and three Paralympic Games as an official or administrator.  In my free time I like getting out for a run, going to the gym, skiing with my wife and son, and connecting with family and friends.
